As we all know that IBPS has already released the notification for recruiting the staff in various Participating Organizations for the year 2015-16. Online Registration will be start from 10th July 2015 to 1st August 2015 & Exam is going to be held in the month of October 2015. So in this post we are going to share with you the complete syllabus and Exam Pattern for this IBPS CWE PO/MT Examination. This Exam Pattern and syllabus will be really helpful in your preparation.

IBPS CWE PO/MT Exam Pattern 2015 is as follow:

As you know from this year IBPS has changed the pattern of the exam, So from this year there will be a first preliminary exam of 100 marks & then there will be a main Exam. Preliminary Examination will consists of 100 questions & 3 sections with 1 hour duration. Syllabus of both Pre & Main will be the same. Only the no. of sections, questions,  time & difficulty level varies. Based on Preliminary Exam, candidates will be shortlisted & called for Main Examination. The marks obtained in the Preliminary examination will not be considered for preparing the final merit list. Only the marks obtained in the Main Examination will be considered for short listing for interview.

PENALTY FOR WRONG ANSWERS: There will be penalty for wrong answers marked in the Objective Tests. For each question for which a wrong answer has been given by the candidate one fourth or 0.25 of the marks assigned to that question will be deducted as penalty to arrive at corrected score. If a question is left blank, i.e. no answer is marked by the candidate; there will be no penalty for that question.

Complete Syllabus of IBPS PO/MT-V Exam 2015:

       1.     Reasoning :
Questions in this section expected to be comes from the following topics:
Alphabet test, Mathematical operations test, Series test, Analogy. Odd Man out, Classification, Syllogism (5), Coding-decoding (5-7), Blood relations (5). Number, Ranking and time sequence, Causes and effects, Analytic Reasoning, Direction sense test. Seating arrangement (High Level) (5-10), Decision making, Input output (0-5), Puzzle (4-7), Statement and Conclusions (2-4). Statement and assumptions, Statement and arguments (2-4), Statement and action’s courses, Non-Verbal Reasoning, Passage and conclusions (2-3), Assertion and reasoning, Figure Series, Word formation, Series (5).

2. Numerical Aptitude:
Number system (2-3), HCF & LCM, Number series, Problems based on numbers. Approximation Wrong Number, Decimal fractions, Square root and cube root, Simplifications (5). [Partnerships, Percentage, Ratio and proportions, Average & Ages Ratio & Proportion]: (4-6). [Profit and loss, Simple interest and compound interest]: (2-4), [Time and work, Time and distance, Mensuration]: (2-4). Permutation and combination (1-2), Probability (1-2), Data Interpretation/Analysis (12-16).


3. English Language:
Spotting the errors (3-5), Phrase substitution, Ordering of sentences or jumbled up sentences (3-6). Double blanks in a sentence, Fill in the blanks (0-5). Cloze Test, Idioms & Phrases, Choosing the appropriate filler. Synonyms and antonyms (0-3), Reconstruction of sentence & passage. One word substitution, Commonly misspelled words, Comprehensions (8-15).

4. General Awareness with Special Reference to Banking Industry:
Current affairs of last 6 months(also related to economy & business), Countries/Currencies, Summits, Committees, Indian Economy, International Economy. Banking terms, Books & Their Authors, RBI, Fiscal Monetary Policies, Repo rate, Reverse repo rate etc., Social Function of Banks, UNO, Marketing, Awards & Honors Sports, Finance, Agriculture, History of Banking etc.

5. Computer Knowledge:
Basic computer fundamentals, Basic Software & Hardware and their functionalities, History and Future of Computers, Networking, Computer Abbreviation, Microsoft-office, Basic knowledge of Internet use, Shortcut keys etc.

**Concentrate more on the topics marked in red color as in previous year, IBPS has focused more on these areas.
