UPSC, Union Public Service Commission is going to conduct the NDA-II & Naval academy Examination II for the year 2016 for the admission to the Army, Navy & Air Force wing. Examination will be conducted on 18th September, 2016, for admission to the Army, Navy and Air Force wings of the NDA for the 138th Course, and for the 100th Indian Naval Academy Course (INAC) commencing from 2nd July, 2017. Candidates must be male and unmarried only. Application mode is online. Candidates may send application forms through online mode on or before due date of 15th July, 2016. Educational Eligibility :
(i) For Army Wing of National Defence Academy: Candidate's should be 12th Class pass of the 10+2 pattern of School Education or equivalent examination conducted by a State Education Board or a University.

(ii) For Air Force and Naval Wings of National Defence Academy and for the 10+2 Cadet Entry Scheme at the Indian Naval Academy: 12th Class pass of the 10+2 pattern of School Education or equivalent with Physics and Mathematics conducted by a State Education Board or a University.

Candidates who are appearing in the 12th Class under the 10+2 pattern of School Education or equivalent examination can also apply for this examination..
Age Bond :
Only unmarried male candidates born not earlier than 02nd January, 1998 and not later than 1st January, 2001 are eligible..

  1. Shortlisted applicants may download call letters from official website of Indian Navy.
  2. Candidates should note that there will be penalty (Negative Marking) for wrong answers marked by a candidate in the Objective Type Question Papers.
  3. The candidates applying for the examination should ensure that they fulfil all the eligibility conditions for admission to the Examination. Their admission at all the stages of the examination will be purely provisional subject to satisfying the prescribed eligibility conditions..
