Indian Navy shared a notification in the
employment newspaper as well as on their official website related to the
University Entry Scheme Notification 2010. Candidates can apply online for this
batch of officers under Indian Navy from 7th June 2019 onwards.
Indian Navy recruitment department recruits fresher Indian candidates through
this University Entry scheme batch every year. This batch of University Entry
Scheme is going to be started in 2020.
Indian Navy Invites all Engineering graduate students
to join the Indian Navy as an SSC (Short Service Commissioned) Officers in
Executive (IT) and Technical Branches under University Entry Scheme (UES).
All engineering graduates who are in the Final and Pre-final year male Students
are eligible to apply for this Course Commencing from - June - 2020.

Eligibility Criteria for this Indian Navy Recruitment
Age Bond: Applicants must be born
between 02nd July 1996 to 1st July 1999 both
dates inclusive. Those who borns in between these dates are eligibile to apply
for this University Entry Scheme 2020.
Educational Credentials: Fresher Indian applicant
who are currently studying in their Final years and pass out Engineering graduates
who obtain 60% aggregate marks in their degree can apply.
Physical Standards Requirement
Minimum
height Male -
157 cms with correlated weight.
Eye
Sight -
The minimum acceptable standard for distant vision 6/12, 6/12 correctable to
6/6 with glasses. Should not be color/night blind.

The following things to be noted
(i) Only one submission of the application to be filled by an
applicant.
(ii) Applicants who are qualified for more than one
branch/cadre/specialization should remark their preference in order of priority
in their application form.
(iii) Applicants will be allotted call up for Service
Selection Board (SSB) interview based on their performance during campus
interviews.
(iv) Applicants with a pending backlog in any semester will
not be allowable to appear for SSB interview.
(v) Applicants will be shortlisted for SSB based on their
first preference.
(vi) However, if not shortlisted for the first preference,
you may be considered for an alternate Branch/ Cadre /Specialisation subject to
availability of spare slots in SSB Batches of that Branch/Cadre/
Specialization.
(vii) Once shortlisted for a Branch/Cadre/ Specialisation, the subsequent stage of the selection process (SSB, Medical & Meriting) will be
exclusively for that Branch/Cadre/ Specialisation.
(viii) Applicants with BE/B.Tech degree in
'Avionics/Aeronautical/Aerospace’ streams will be eligible for Air Technical
branch only.
(ix) No equivalent stream of (BE/B Tech) other than that as
mentioned in Para 2 above will be considered valid for the selection process at any
stage.
