Education for officers in Grade 'B' (DR)-DSIM:

A. An IIT-Kharagpur or IIT-Bombay Master's degree in statistics, mathematical statistics, mathematical economics, econometrics, or statistics and informatics with a minimum of 55% overall or an equivalent grade across all semesters or years.

B. A Master's degree in mathematics with a minimum of 55% overall or an equivalent grade, plus a one-year postgraduate diploma in statistics or a closely related field from a reputable institution.

C. An Indian Statistical Institute M. Stat. degree with a minimum cumulative grade point average (GPA) of 55%.

 

Age Bond: The RBI has established minimum age requirements for appearing in the RBI Officer (Grade 'B') examination. The upper age restriction for candidates with M.Phil. and Ph.D. qualifications will be 32 and 34 years, respectively.

The candidate is required to be a citizen of India.
