UPSC CAPF
Eligibility Criteria 2026
1. Nationality
Candidate must be a
citizen of India. Subjects of Nepal and Bhutan are also eligible under
specified conditions.
2. Age Limit (As on 1 August 2026)
Minimum Age: 20 Years
Maximum Age: 25 Years
Candidate must be born
between 02 August 2001 and 01 August 2006.
Age
Relaxation:
• SC/ST – 5 Years
• OBC – 3 Years
• Central Govt.
Servants/Ex-Servicemen – Up to 5 Years as per rules
3. Educational Qualification
Candidate must possess a
Bachelor’s Degree from a recognized university. Final year candidates may apply, but must produce proof of passing the PST/PET stage.

• For the General/OBC/EWS
categories application fee will be Rs. 200
• Those who belong to the
SC/ST/Female categories are exempted from the fee.

UPSC CAPF Selection
Process 2026
Applicants will go through
the different rounds of the selection process under this UPSC CAPF Recruitment
procedure. The selection process consists of the following stages:
1. Written Examination
2. Physical Standards Test
(PST)
3. Physical Efficiency Test
(PET)
4. Interview/Personality Test
(150 Marks)
5. Medical Examination
Final Merit will be based

Registration Number (URN), the Common Application Form (CAF), and the Examination
