·      Gross Salary: ₹23,000 - ₹26,000 per month

·      In-Hand Salary: ₹16,915 - ₹20,245 per month (after deductions)

 

Eligibility Criteria for Applying

Age Limit: For the Multi-Tasking Staff (MTS) positions being offered in the SSC Recruitment 2025, the age limit is set between 18 and 25 years. This age eligibility is calculated as of August 1, 2025, meaning candidates must fall within this age bracket on or before the specified date.

·      Regarding the Havaldar positions available through the SSC Recruitment 2025, the age limit is slightly different. For these roles, candidates must be between 18 and 27 years old. Similar to the MTS positions, this age eligibility is also determined as of August 1, 2025.

How much is the application Fee for applying?

For candidates belonging to the General and Other Backward Classes (OBC) categories, the application fee is Rs.100. This application fee is applicable to all male candidates falling under the General and OBC categories.

However, candidates who are Scheduled Caste (SC), Scheduled Tribe (ST), Persons with Disabilities (PwD), and all female candidates are exempted from paying the application fee. The application fee for these categories is Nil. This means that no application fee is required for SC, ST, PwD, and female candidates.

Eligibility Criteria for Applying SSC Recruitment

Age Bond: For Stenographer Grade ‘C’, the minimum age requirement is 18 years. The upper age limit for applicants is 30 years. To be eligible for Stenographer Grade ‘C’, candidates must have been born not earlier than August 2nd, 1995, and their birth date should not be later than August 1st, 2007. This means that individuals born between 02.08.1995 and 01.08.2007 (inclusive) meet the age criteria for this grade.

Moving on to the Stenographer Grade ‘D’ position, the minimum age limit is also 18 years. However, the maximum age limit is slightly lower at 27 years. For Stenographer Grade ‘D’, candidates should not have been born before August 2nd, 1998, and their birth date must not be after August 1st, 2007. Therefore, only those candidates whose birth dates fall between 02.08.1998 and 01.08.2007 (inclusive) are considered eligible to apply for the Stenographer Grade ‘D’ role based on their age.

Education: To be eligible, candidates are required to have successfully completed the 12th standard examination, or an equivalent examination from a Board or University that is officially recognized. This qualification must have been obtained on or before the specified cut-off date, which has been set as the 1st of August, 2025.

How much is the application fee for applying to the SSC Steno recruitment 2025?

·   The application fees apply to all candidates submitting applications, with the fee amount being Rs. 100/- (Rupees one hundred only). This fee is a mandatory component of the application process for general category candidates.

·      However, certain categories of candidates are eligible for exemption from the application fee. Specifically, Women candidates are not required to pay the application fee. Furthermore, candidates who belong to the Scheduled Castes (SC) are also exempt from paying the application fee.
