According to the official GATE 2027 Information Brochure, candidates studying in the third year or above of eligible undergraduate programmes, as well as candidates who have already completed qualifying degrees, are eligible to apply. There is no upper age limit for appearing in GATE 2027.

What is GATE 2027 Eligibility Criteria?

The GATE 2027 Eligibility Criteria defines the minimum academic qualifications required to appear for the Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering. Every candidate must satisfy these conditions before completing the online registration process. Since GATE scores are accepted by IITs, NITs, IIITs, IISc, several universities and Public Sector Undertakings (PSUs), checking your eligibility beforehand is essential to avoid application errors.

The Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Madras has officially released the GATE 2027 Information Brochure. Along with the notification, the institute has announced the online registration schedule, examination dates, application fee structure and several important updates for candidates planning to appear in the Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering (GATE) 2027.

Candidates aspiring for M.Tech admissions, higher studies, research opportunities, and various PSU recruitments can now begin preparing according to the latest notification.
