appointment being withdrawn.
Detailed
Selection Procedure
The selection process comprises four phases related to
these bank jobs in India. Candidates have to go through the following phases of the selection process to get appointed:
- Online
Examination: This includes an Objective Test (120
marks, 2 hours) with sections on English Language, Banking Knowledge,
General Awareness/Economy, and Computer Aptitude, and a Descriptive Test
(50 marks, 30 minutes) covering English Language (Letter Writing & Essay).
There are no sectional qualifying marks, but minimum aggregate marks are
required. There is a penalty for wrong answers in the Objective Test.
- Screening:
A Screening Committee will evaluate candidates' submitted job profiles
against the job profile of a Scale-I Generalist Officer of SBI. This is a
crucial step, and applications will be summarily rejected if the job
profiles do not match substantially.
- Interview:
An interview worth 50 marks will be conducted. Candidates must score a minimum qualifying mark in the interview.
- Local

- Final
