Reliance Foundation Offers Undergraduate Scholarships: Up to Rs 2 Lakh Stipend

Application deadline is October 15 for the 5000 first-year UG scholarships offered by the Reliance Foundation.

A stipend of up to Rs 2 lakh will be given to chosen students for the duration of their studies through the Reliance Foundation Undergraduate Scholarships initiative.

First-year undergraduate applicants can now apply for merit-cum-merit scholarships through the Reliance Foundation. The scholarship aims to offer a reward of up to Rs 2 lakh as well as the chance to join an encouraging support network and a thriving alumni network. Eligibility Criteria

To be eligible for the National Overseas Scholarship, applicants must meet the following criteria:

Citizenship: Applicants must be Indian citizens.

Age Limit: The maximum age limit for applicants is 35 years.

Educational Qualification: In order to be eligible for the scholarship, at least 60% marks or an equivalent grade in the qualifying examination would be required. In the case of Ph. D courses, the qualifying exam would be a Master’s Degree and for Master’s Degree courses, the qualifying examination would be Bachelor's Degree. 

In case a student has completed a Bachelor of Engineering after completing Diploma (Lateral Entry to 2nd year), the percentage of marks obtained in the Bachelor's degree will be taken into account. ·      Marksheet for all semesters is to be provided. Wherein the University provides only the CGPA and not the numerical marks, a formula for conversion of CGPA to numerical marks bearing authentication by the University should invariably be provided. In case mark sheets for all semesters/terms are not submitted with the application form the candidature of the applicant will be rejected. Likewise, if the formula of conversion of CGPA (wherever applicable) is not submitted by the applicant with his application form, the candidature would be rejected. No representations, in this regard, in either case, will be entertained.

Annual Income for Applying for National Overseas Scholarship: The annual income of the applicant's family should not exceed INR 8 lakhs. The income certificate should be issued by a Revenue Officer, not below the rank of "Tehsildar". The students will submit the ITR/ITRs of the family members as well.

Cyber Shikshaa Skill Scholarship
Women engineering graduates, who are interested in pursuing their career in cyber security, are invited by Microsoft & Data Security Council of India (DSCI) to apply for this scholarship, and be a part of their four-month free training programme. The programme shall also provide placement assistance. The scholarship opportunity is applicable for the Cyber Shikshaa centers located at Noida, UP and Mohali, Punjab.
