Basic Information about this ICMR Recruitment Process
Designation Name: Junior Research Fellow.
Number of Vacancies: 150 Posts.
A total of 150 Fellowships would be awarded. In which 120 fellowships in the field of Biomedical Sciences with emphasis on Life Sciences (like microbiology, physiology, molecular biology, genetics, human biology, biotechnology, biochemistry, bioinformatics, biophysics, immunology, pharmacology, nursing, zoology, botany, environmental sciences and veterinary Medicine (excluding Agriculture extension/ Soil Sciences, etc.).
The remaining thirty (30) fellowships for the work with an emphasis on Social Sciences like psychology, sociology, home science, statistics anthropology, social work, public health/health economics (agriculture economics will not be considered).
What are the Eligibility Criteria for Applying this Indian Council of Medical Research recruitment 2020?
Educational Requirement: Applicants who have MSc/MA or equivalent degree with at least 55% marks for General/EWS/OBC applicants and 50% for the SC/ST and PwBD category applicants in the subjects declared above under basic information section. Applicants appearing in the final year of their examination in the 2019-2020 session can also apply for this ICMR Recruitment for Jr. Research Fellow.
Age Bond: The upper age limit for the admission to the suitability test is 28 years as on 30th Sept. 2020 for applying these Jr. Research Fellowship program in 2020. (The age is relaxable up to 5 years in case of applicants belonging to one of the following casts: “SC/ST, PwBD and female candidates” and 3 years in the case of OBC).
How much is the Application fee for applying this ICMR JRF Vacancy 2020?
Different casts have to pay the different application fee amount for applying this recruitment process for Junior research fellow. The application fee for different categories are as follow:
For UR/EWS/OBC: Rs.1500 + Transaction Charges.
For SC/ST: Rs.1200 + Transaction Changes.
For PWD: No Fee.
