Last year in 2015-16 they named it as an assistant post. Now this year 2016-17 they named it as Jr. Associates. So every year SBI will declare new name to the post under clerical vacancies.

Quantitative Aptitude is difficult to understand for non-maths lovers. But if you work hard on it, with a proper mindset, interest to show on it can help to score pass percentage in this Quantitative Aptitude section. Because of this section many candidates have failed in written exam of Banks, Government jobs etc. Here some tips are provided to get pass percentage in Quantitative Aptitude section. Preparation Methods:

3. Time factor is very important one. You know one minute equal to 60 seconds. If you solve a problem in one minute, then next time try to solve it in 50 seconds.
4. Spend at least two to three hours on Quantitative Aptitude section per a day, practice chapter wise topics along with questions.
5. It is better to maintain a note book, where you have to write formulas, important tricks, short cut methods etc. So that you will remember all important points during exam day.
6. Practise one to thirty tables, one to fifty squares, cubes etc so that you will complete this section fast during exam.
7. Concentrate more on the topics of Simplification, Profit and Loss, Percentages, Averages, Ratio's. Spend time to solve the questions on these topics. Learn tips and easy methods in these topics.
8. Time factor plays a major role for all candidates in these type of examinations. You have to do calculations in problems with a little bit speed.
Note:
Speed is tough to get over night. You have to work on this section daily basis. Please spend some time on it daily. You should complete the answers in less than 60 seconds (one minute). Solve model papers, previous years papers, practice questions etc again and again.

State Bank of India (SBI) introduces Junior Associates (Customer Support & Sales) & Junior Agricultural Associates in Clerical Cadre posts in April, 2016. These all posts on regular based. Interested candidates can be applied by online procedure only. As per requirement of SBI, total available posts are 18,855. The official notification has been uploaded. Selection Process :
Candidates will be selected based on their performance in on-line tests of Preliminary exam and main exams followed by interview.
I. Preliminary Exam  :
Preliminary exam is an objective type test for one hundred marks. It is an online test. Total Time duration is 1 hour. It consists 3 sections mentioned below.

Interview Process :
Based on number of posts and high ranking in main exam, candidates will be called for an interview process in the ration of three candidates for each post. Applicants who will be scored qualifying marks in interview round to be allowed for final selection. There is a relaxation for SC/ST/PWD/OBC/XS category candidates i.e. up to 5%. So the final selection of candidates would be depended on main examination and interview round taken together.
Must Follow Tips:
A)&nbspCandidates who are writing their final year examination are also eligible for SBI clerk Recruitment 2016. But they have to produce the certificate of passing the degree examination if called for an interview process.

B) For all other candidates, committee will conduct a language test before final selection or at interview time.

C)  Final merit list will be prepared by committee based on marks scored in Main Examination and Interview rounds only. Committee will not add Marks scored in Preliminary Examination to merit list.

D)  Committee will upload interview call letters on Bank's official website (link given below) after declaration of online test results.
