·  Candidates possessing higher professional qualifications, such as a diploma or B.E. or equivalent, shall not be considered. Additionally, candidates having higher academic qualifications like a B.A./B.Sc./B.Com., etc., will not be given any additional weightage."

Age Limit: The age of the candidate should be between 18 to 30 years as on the cut-off date (01.05.2025). Age relaxation is provided for SC/ST (5 years) and OBC (3 years) candidates as per government guidelines.

 

Selection Process

1.    Selection will be based on merit calculated from marks obtained in the ITI and 10th board exams.

2.    For trades requiring ITI, a weightage of 30% will be given to ITI marks and 70% to 10th board marks.

3.    For trades only requiring the 10th pass, 100% weightage will be given to the 10th board marks.

4. An additional 10 bonus marks will be awarded to dependents of existing HCL/KCC employees.

5.    In case of a tie in marks, the older candidate will be given preference.

6."The candidates will be selected based on merit based on their marks obtained in ITI & 10th. A weightage of 30% to marks scored in the relevant trades in ITI & a weightage of 70% shall be given to marks scored in the 10th board. In case where no ITI is required [Like in the trades of Mate (Mines), Blaster (Mines), & Front Office Assistant], 100% weightage will be given to marks scored in 10th Board."

 

Application Process for Applying

Step 1: Apprenticeship Registration: Compulsory registration on the Government of India portal (www.apprenticeshipindia.gov.in). The generated unique number is mandatory for the next step.

Step 2: Online Submission of Application: Application must be submitted through the company’s website (www.hindustancopper.com). No other mode of application will be accepted.

· "Candidates should register themselves for apprenticeship on the Government of India portal (www.apprenticeshipindia.gov.in). This is compulsory."

·     "The candidates shall be required to submit their application online through the company’s website (www.hindustancopper.com). No other means or mode of application shall be accepted."

·      A 'One Applicant – One Application' system is to be followed.
