The Institute of Banking Personnel Selection (IBPS) has opened the Common Recruitment Process for Regional Rural Banks XV (CRP RRBs XV) for recruitment to Office Assistant (Multipurpose), Officer Scale-I, Officer Scale-II and Officer Scale-III posts.
1. IBPS RRB Recruitment 2026: Introduction
IBPS RRB Recruitment 2026, officially known as CRP RRBs XV, is a nationwide recruitment exercise for eligible candidates seeking careers in Regional Rural Banks (RRBs). The process covers both Group 'B' Office Assistants (Multipurpose) and Group 'A' Officers in Scale-I, Scale-II and Scale-III.
One important feature of this recruitment is that the selection route depends on the post. Office Assistants and Officer Scale-I go through a Preliminary and Main examination, whereas Officer Scale-II and Officer Scale-III candidates face a single online examination followed by interview for shortlisted candidates.
Candidates should also understand that the vacancies published in the notification are indicative rather than permanently fixed. Final provisional allotment depends on the actual vacancies reported by the participating RRBs.
