Pay Scale :
Scale of pay for Assistant and Junior Stenographer posts is Rs.5200/- to Rs.20200/- per month plus Grade Pay of Rs.1900/- or Rs.2400/-.

Educational Eligibility :
Qualification is Intermediate/ +2 from a recognised University. Candidates must have the knowledge of typing on computer. Typing speed is 35 w.p.m. in English or 30 w.p.m. in Hindi.
Age Bond :
Maximum age limit must not exceed 28 years as on 25th July, 2016 and minimum age limit for above posts must be 18 years. There is relaxation also as per rules and regulations.
Application Fee :
Application fee (non-refundable) for candidates belongs to General/OBC category is Rs.100/- drawn in favour of "Director, Central Institute of Mining & Fuel Research" payable at SBI, Dhanbad.
Selection Process :
Department will conduct a Common Written Test or Competitive Proficiency Test to select candidates for Assistant and Junior Stenographer posts.
