Age restriction (as of
05.08.2023): The
age criteria for applying for these apprentice jobs in India for ITI pass
candidates are as follows:

Minimum
Age requirement: 18 years
·
Maximum
Age limit: 25 years.
Note: The age reduction is permitted under the Government guidelines. The upper age restriction is relaxed by 5 years for SC/ST applicants and 3 years for OBC candidates. All government guidelines on the subject shall be followed.
Educational Criteria: The candidate should have a 10th class pass and must have completed their ITI course in a relevant trade.
Note: Candidates with higher
professional qualifications, such as a diploma, a bachelor's degree, or an
equivalent, will not be taken into consideration. Additionally, candidates with
higher academic degrees like a B.A., B.Sc., or B.Com. won't receive any extra
credit.
Selection
Methodology Related to this HCL Apprentice recruitment
· The candidates will be chosen on merit based on their ITI and 10th-grade results for this process of Hindustan Copper Limited recruitment 2023.
· Marks earned in relevant trades in ITI will be weighted at 30%, while marks acquired in 10th grade will be weighted at 70%.
· If no ITI is necessary [as in the trades of Mate (Mines) and Blaster (Mines),] 10th Board marks will be given 100% weightage.
· If
two or more candidates receive equal marks while producing the merit list, the
candidate with the older age will be given preference.
