Assistant exam is to be conducted by the Reserve Bank of India for the eligible
graduates to grab the posts of assistant in the banking department. Reserve
Bank of India has announced 950 vacancies for RBI Assistant posts to be
recruited. RBI Assistant has been released in the employment news on 14th
February 2022. The bank will conduct a nationwide exam for the selection of
candidates. The selection process followed by RBI to select candidates for the
post of Assistant is carried through prelims, mains and proficiency test.
The
final result will be based on the marks scored in Mains exam and language test.

Eligibility
Criteria for RBI Assistant Recruitment
The
candidate is required to be a citizen of India.
Age Limit: The candidate age between 20 years to 28
years of age to be eligible for RBI Assistant 2022 exam. Age relaxation is as
follows.
SC/ST
category candidates is 5 years, OBC candidates is 3 years, PWD candidates is 10
years, Ex-Servicemen candidates is to be extent provided by armed forces above
5 years.
Educational Qualification: The candidate must hold Bachelor's degree with an aggregate of 50% and above in any discipline to be eligible for the RBI Assistant exam. The candidate must hold knowledge of computers as well as have proficiency in the official language.

RBI selection process takes place in three stages the prelims, mains and the
language proficiency test. There is a negative marking of 0.25 marks in prelims
and mains RBI Assistant exam. The candidate to get selected for RBI Assistant
posts needs to qualify in all the three phases prelims, mains and language
proficiency test.

Language Proficiency Test
The
candidates shortlisted from the main online examination will have to undergo a
language proficiency test(LPT). The test will be conducted in the official
language of the state and the candidate should not proficient in the official
language will be disqualified from the selection process.

The
candidates will be able to download the RBI Assistant admit card around 10 days
before the exam date. Only the candidates who have correctly filled the online
application form will be issued admit card.
RBI
Assistant 2022 Result
Reserve
Bank of India releases the result of RBI Assistant exam within one to two weeks
after the examination is over. Candidates who appeared for the RBI Assistant
exam can check the result and scorecard at the official website. The result is
released separately for each stage and the RBI assistant final merit list will
be prepared on the basis of the mains exam and language proficiency test.
