Eligibility Criteria for Applying

SSC CGL 2024 Qualification Standards: The SSC CGL Exam is not open to everyone because the commission has established minimum eligibility requirements based on nationality, age, and educational background. According to the announcement from last year, the requirements for eligibility are as follows:

·      For JSOs, or junior statistical officers: Those who have a bachelor's degree from any accredited university with at least a 60% grade in mathematics for class 12 or a degree in any field with statistics as one of the required subjects.

·  For Grade II Statistical Investigators: A diploma from any accredited university with elective coursework in mathematics or economics, statistics, or both.

·      For the National Human Rights Commission (NHRC) Research Assistant: A bachelor's degree from an accredited university or institute and at least a year's worth of research experience at any accredited university or research facility.

·   Regarding the remaining posts: A bachelor's degree from an accredited university in any subject.

Age Bond: Applicants must be aged between 18 years to 27 years for applying SSC CGL exam 2024.

Application Fee for SSC CGL-2024

When submitting their application online at www.ssc.gov.in, candidates must pay Rs. 100. Candidates who identify as women or who fall under the categories of SC, ST, PwBD, or ESM are eligible for a reservation and are not required to pay an application fee. The application fee must be paid by July 25, 2024, at 11 p.m. Only online payment methods such as BHIM UPI, Net Banking, Visa, Mastercard, Maestro, or RuPay Debit cards are accepted for the application fee.

Eligibility Criteria for Applying SSC CGL Notification 2023

Educational Qualification:

Selection Procedure for SSC CGL 2023 [Revised]

Applicants will go through the following stages for this recruitment process. The SSC CGL 2023 Examination will be conducted in four tiers as indicated below:

1. Tier-I: It will be a Computer-Based Examination that is Qualifying in nature.

2. Tier-II: (Paper I is required for all positions), The SSC CGL Paper II  is applicable to the applicants interested in Junior Statistical Officer (JSO) positions with the Ministry of Statistics and Programme Implementation, and Paper III for those interested in Assistant Audit Officer/Assistant Accounts Officer positions.

3. Applicants who have applied for the SSC CGL exam 2023, will be assigned Roll numbers and Admit Cards for appearing in the Computer-Based Examination (Tier-I).

4. Based on the marks achieved in Tier-I, candidates would be shortlisted, category-wise, to sit in Tier-II and Tier-III Examinations.

 

SSC CGL Exam Pattern 2023 (Revised)

The Combined Graduate Level (CGL) Exam Pattern has been updated by the Staff Selection Commission (SSC), which also released the SSC CGL Notification 2023. The Exam will be divided into 2 tiers as shown below:

·      Tier-1 - Objective Multiple Choice Questions: It will be a Computer-Based (online) test for all posts.

·      Tier: 2- Under this tier-2, the SSC CGL department will conduct (Paper I, II, and III). The Paper-1 is Compulsory for all Posts. Paper II is for applicants seeking Junior Statistical Officer (JSO) positions with the Ministry of Statistics and Programme Implementation, and Paper III is for applicants seeking Assistant Audit Officer/Assistant Accounts Officer positions.
