Criteria for Applying for UGC NET Exam 2024
Age
Restriction: The
age criteria for applying UGC NET examination for different positions are as
follows:

Age
Limit for JRF: Applicants age must be not more than 30
years old as of January 6, 2024, for applying UGC NET JRF position.
· Age Limit for Assistant Professors: There is no higher age limit for applying to the
UGC-NET program.
Age relaxation is allowed under the guidelines.
Education: Candidates must hold a master's degree or pass an equivalent exam from an institution or university that has received UGC recognition.
How much
is the Application
Cost for applying the UGC NET Exam 2024?
· Rs. 1150/-for the
applicants who belong to the general/unreserved categories.
· The application
fee for the Economically Weaker Section (EWS)
and Other Backward Classes (OBC) is Rs. 600.
· Rs. 325 is
the application fee for SC, ST, PwD, and third gender categories.
Mode of Payment: Use the Payment Gateway(s) that are integrated with the online
application to pay the fee by UPI, debit/credit card, net banking, or card.

Candidates may only
apply "online" for UGC-NET June 2024 by visiting the following
websites: https://ugcnet.ntaonline.in; https://ugcnet.nta.ac.in. We have also shared the

this recruitment news. Any other means of submission of the application
form would not be accepted. Candidates are only required to submit one
application. A candidate who submits multiple applications, or more
Application Forms, will have them rejected.

Date for online applications and fee payments is April
20, 2024.
· The deadline for online applications is May 10, 2024, at 11:50 PM.
· The UGC
NET examination fee must be paid by credit card, debit
card, net banking, or UPI payment methods before 11:50 PM on May 11, 2024, to
be successfully processed.
· Modification of application form details only available on the website
from May 13 to May 15, 2024, until 11:50 p.m.

The
