emoluments at the time of joining will be approximately Rs. 100,000/- p.m. in
metro cities. Emoluments for encadred posts within the Armed Services will be
paid by them.

Eligibility Criteria for Applying to this DRDO Recruitment 2025
Essential Qualification: Must have a first-class bachelor's degree in engineering or technology in the relevant branch from a
recognized university or equivalent.

Recruitment 2025 Application Process
Applicants have to apply online for these government jobs in India for fresh candidates. The online application is mandatory through the RAC website (https://rac.gov.in). The closing date for online applications is 21 days from publication in the Employment News. Candidates working in the government or government-owned organizations need to submit their applications online directly to RAC and inform their employer of a "No Objection Certificate (NOC)". Proof of submission of the intimation letter/undertaking must be uploaded within a specified timeframe. Candidates are advised to retain a copy of the online application after locking it. How much is the application fee?
· A
non-transferable, non-refundable application fee of Rs 100/- is required for
General (UR), EWS, and OBC male candidates, payable online.
· There
is no application fee for SC/ST/Divyangjan and women candidates.
Screening
and Shortlisting:
1. Eligible candidates will be shortlisted based on their
valid GATE score in the ratio of 1:10, subject to availability, in order of
discipline-wise, category-wise merit.
2. Shortlisted candidates will be asked to confirm their willingness to appear for the personal interview and select tentative interview dates.
Selection
Process
1. Shortlisted candidates will appear for a personal interview at Delhi or another location decided by RAC/DRDO.
2. Final selection is based on a combined merit of 80%
weightage of the GATE score and 20% weightage of marks in the personal interview.
3. The minimum qualifying marks in the personal interview are 70% for the UR category and 60% for EWS/OBC/SC/ST/Divyangjan categories. Candidates failing to qualify for the interview will not be considered for selection.
4. The offer of appointment will be restricted to the number
of vacancies in order of merit and is subject to passing the medical examination and verification of documents.
