opportunities available in India. Our
regular reader know that on weekly basis we shared the regular updates on various
scholarship opportunities on every Wednesday. We are now coming with this
week scholarship opportunities which we taken from the Tribune Newspaper
published on 26th Dec. 2018.

Abdul
Kalam Technology Innovation National Fellowship
The
Indian National Academy of Engineering (INAE) is inviting applications from
outstanding engineers to encourage, support and recognise translational
research and achieve excellence in innovation, engineering and technology
development.
Eligibility: The applicants must
hold a bachelor’s degree and an adequate professional qualification and should
possess minimum five years of service left at the parent organisation as on the
date of award.
Details: Fellowship amount of
~25,000 per month along with the regular income will be awarded along with the
Research grant of ~15 lakh per annum to be utilised for engineering, research
and innovation activities.

Sanskriti-Kalakriti
Fellowship
This
fellowship is for young performing artists who have interest towards dance and
want to explore their skills in the field.
Eligibility: Candidates between the
age of 25 to 40 years having at least 10 years of training in Indian classical
dance and must have given at least 2-3 solo performances to their credit in
recognized forums.
Details: A grant of ~50,000 will
be given in two instalments.

Young
Scientist Fellowship Scheme (YSFS)
Tamil
Nadu State Council for Science and Technology is offering this fellowship to
encourage young scientists and researchers to get themselves acquainted with
the latest techniques in research and development.
Eligibility: The candidates must
have completed master’s or PhD. degree in the relevant disciplines and must be
below the age of 40 years. The candidates must hold a regular position in the
parent institution and avail leave with pay from the parent institution during
the period of the fellowship.
Details: Selected candidates
will get a fellowship amount of ~10,000 per month. Deadline: December 31, 2018

SERB
Ramanujan Fellowships
This
Fellowship is designed for outstanding engineers and scientists from across the
world, who want to take up scientific research positions in India and
especially, for those engineers or scientists who want to return to India.
Eligibility: Scientists with degree
in Science or Engineering, master’s in engineering or technology or MD in
Medicine, etc or equivalent and having requisite professional experience, can
apply. The applicant must be aged below 55 years.
Details: Fellowship of ~85,000
pm and Research Grant of ~7 lakh pa will be awarded. Deadline: December 31,
2018
