Indian Navy SSC Officer Eligibility Criteria 2026 

Educational Criteria for Different Posts:

Candidates applying for the Indian Navy SSC Officer Recruitment 2026 must meet the branch-wise educational qualifications mentioned below. A minimum of 60% marks is required in most entries unless stated otherwise.


🔹 Executive Branch (GS(X) / Hydro Cadre)

  • BE / B.Tech in any discipline

  • Minimum 60% aggregate marks


✈️ Pilot

  • BE / B.Tech in any discipline with minimum 60% marks

  • Must have:

    • 60% aggregate in Class X and XII

    • Minimum 60% marks in English (Class X or XII)


👁️ Naval Air Operations Officer (Observer)

  • BE / B.Tech in any discipline with minimum 60% marks

  • Must have:

    • 60% aggregate in Class X and XII

    • Minimum 60% marks in English (Class X or XII)


🛫 Air Traffic Controller (ATC)

  • BE / B.Tech in any discipline with minimum 60% marks

  • Must have:

    • 60% aggregate in Class X and XII

    • Minimum 60% marks in English (Class X or XII)


📦 Logistics Branch

Candidates must have First Class in any one of the following:

  • BE / B.Tech

  • MBA

  • B.Sc / B.Com / B.Sc (Hons) + PG Diploma in:

    • Finance

    • Logistics

    • Supply Chain Management

    • Material Management

  • MCA / M.Sc (Hons)


🎓 Education Branch

Candidates must have minimum 60% marks in one of the following qualifications:

  • MSc / MA (Mathematics / Operational Research)
    (Physics required at BSc level)

  • MSc / MA (Physics / Applied Physics / Meteorology / Oceanography / Atmospheric Sciences)
    (Physics and Mathematics required at BSc level)

  • BE / B.Tech (Mechanical / Production Engineering)

  • BE / B.Tech / M.Tech (Computer Science Engineering)
    OR MCA (with Physics or Mathematics at graduation level)
