Eligibility
Criteria for Delhi High Court Judicial Exam
Age Limit: The
candidate age should be the limit of 32 years and the age relaxation is
applicable as per the category.
Educational Qualification: The candidate should
complete LLB from a recognized university and practice as an advocate.
Application Fee for Delhi High Court DJS Exam
- For General Candidates: 1000/-
- For SC/ST/PWD Candidates: 200/-
Mode of Payment: Pay the examination fee through debit card, credit card,
and net banking.
Salary of
Delhi Civil Judge
Pay Scale: 56100/- to 177500/-

Judicial Services Exam Pattern
Preliminary Exam
The format of the exam is objective-type questions and
contains 200 questions.
For every wrong answer, 0.25 marks are deducted from the
final score.
The subjects include general knowledge and skills in
English.
Main Examination
The format is descriptive and is given a score out of a
total of 850 marks. The exam has four sections with three of them having a
total of 200 marks and one for 250 marks.

Syllabus for Delhi Judiciary Exam
Preliminary Exam
The question paper contains 200 marks and is based on
multiple-choice questions. It is basically a screening test for the main
examination. The prelims hold no merit on the final score.

Main Exam
The Delhi main exam is an essay type with a total score of
850 marks. There are four different sections and each covers a large number
of topics. Only after clearing the main examination, the candidate shall be called
for the viva stage.
Language and General Knowledge
This section is divided into two sections
The first section is the area of general knowledge. This
section contains 100 marks and the topics are current legal situations, events,
and topics are put forward.
The second section is the language. Here writing,
translations and related skills will be tested. Negative marking is given in
this section and two passages will be given for translation. The total mark in
this section is 150 marks.

Admit card of Delhi High Court Judicial Service Exam
The admit card is only released on the official
website. More than one copy of the admit
card must be done for safety purposes. It is advisable to ensure that the admit
card remains undamaged throughout the whole procedure. The admit card is
mandatory for the candidate and without admit card the candidate will not allow
to the exam hall.
Delhi High Court Judicial Service Exam Result
Delhi High Court prepares separate announcements for the
preliminary and the main examinations. The final list of qualifiers for the
post will be displayed on the official website of High Court of Delhi. In the
final list, the score is an aggregate of the marks scored in the main
examinations and the marks obtained in the viva. Marks scored in the
preliminary exam are not counted while making the final list.
