Various Eligible Criteria Required for
UPSC CDS Exam 2017
Education Criteria:
1). For
I.M.A. and Officers’ Training Academy: Degree of a recognised University
or equivalent.
2). For
Indian Naval Academy: Degree in Engineering from a recognised
University/Institution.
3). For Air
Force Academy: Degree of a recognised University (with Physics and
Mathematics at 10+2 level) or Bachelor of Engineering.
Nationality Criteria: Indian
Age Criteria:
1). For IMA
& Indian Naval Academy : Unmarried male candidates born not earlier
than 2nd January, 1994 and not later than 1st January, 1999 only are eligible.
2). For Air
Force Academy : 20 to 24 years i.e. born not earlier than 02nd January,
1994 and not later than 01st January, 1998
3). For
Officers’ Training Academy: Male/Women candidates (married or unmarried)
born not earlier than 2nd January, 1993 and not later than 1st January, 1999
only are eligible.
Procedure for Selection for CDS Exam 2017
Those who
are going to apply for this CDS Exam 2017 will go through the 2 round of
selection. The first round will be the Witten examination. Those who cleared
the first round will go to the second round of interview. After interview round
candidates will be selected for training. Selection will be based on
Recruitment Test & Interview.
What is the Application Fee For CDS Exam 2017?
Candidate
have to pay Rs. 200/- as their application fee by depositing the money in any
branch of SBI by cash, or by using net banking facility of the SBI or by using
visa/master credit/debit card.
Those who belong
to the following Cat.: SC/ST/PH/Women need not to pay anything for applying.
