As you all have prepared according to the study plan, now it is the time for evaluation. Self evaluation is very important; if you will self evaluate yourself then only you will come to know your weak as well the strong points. Last 10 to 15 days are very crucial, in this period you should evaluate yourself by solving the previous year question papers and give a final touch to every topic, because if you will not give a review to the learnt topics then they will be washed away because most of the topics which you have not given a review fades away with the time. So it is good to give a fresh look to every topic and work on your weak points and strengthen your strong points.
In these crucial days just go through the SWOT Analysis. SWOT stands for (Strength, Weaknesses, Opportunities, and Threats). This will help you in building your self confidence which is a key to get the success in any field. Let us explain this strategy in brief.

S stands for Strengths:  go through the topics and evaluate yourself that in which topics you have a strong hand and prepare them well and make them an instrument for the fight.  Learn these topics on your fingers so that you can attempt such type of questions in the exam with full accuracy. In simple words you can say just work on your strengths.
W stands for Weaknesses: work on the topics, in which you are weak, practice them more frequently and try to improve your command on these topics.
O stands for Opportunities:  utilize the opportunities at a right time, this means that the topics in which you have a strong hand try to attempt those in the exam with more accuracy and in less time. This will help in saving your time for the other questions.
T stands for Threats:  this means to say that stay away from the threats such as the negative marking threat. Focus on the quality of the answered questions not on the quantity. Try to attempt the maximum questions with accuracy. Leave the questions in which you have any doubt. Attempting the doubtful questions can ruin your dream of becoming a banker.
Use these all strategies to achieve your goals. Best of luck students!!!

how to prepare for sbi po exam 2018

Hello participants, as you all know SBI PO EXAM 2018 is coming near day by day and you all are working very hard to crack this exam, so for helping you in your preparations we are providing you some guidelines regarding what to study and what not to study for cracking the exam.
In the banking industry, State Bank of India (SBI) is one of the oldest and famous names and certainly it is one of the hard hitting exams in India. The students work very hard to crack this exam. To get success in this exam you should have a clear mind what to study and what not to study.
You are now left only with two months for prelims and three months for mains exam so you should be cleared about you plans. In this topic here we are giving you some key points which you have to keep in your mind while preparing for the SBI PO EXAM 2018.

THINGS TO DO IN SBI PO EXAM 2018
1. Schedule and prepare your study plan according to the time you have left with for the preparation, according to the topics to be covered, importance of topics, pattern of the exam and according to strong and weak points of one’s own self.
 2. Work hard on a properly scheduled plan on a regularly base and evaluate yourself time to time.
3. Prepare yourself that you should have ability of categorization that what you have to attempt and what you have to skip in the exam. Just give a glance to the question paper and the questions which you think are too lengthy and you have not studied, leave them. Don’t waste your time on these types of questions. Utilize your time on solving the questions which you think are simple and easy.
4. Before you have started for the preparation of SBI PO EXAM 2018, give a mock test of prelims as well as mains exam. Here you will get an idea of the exam outline as well as the type of questions asked in the exam.
5. Evaluate yourself time to time. After having a mock test analyzes your weak and strong topics. Try to strengthen your strong points and to improve your weak points.
6. Revise regularly what you have studied, this will help you in memorizing the things, otherwise it will fades away with the effect of time. So always be in touch what you have studied.
7. Make it a habit on spending at least 2 hours daily on every subject. Daily practice additional questions based on the hottest and latest pattern and devote at least two hours for each and every topic.
8. Go through the current affairs of last 4-5 months properly. This will help you in better scoring and can help in clearing the overall cutoff. As you cannot learn all the GK at the last minute so do it on regular base. What happens new day by day you should have that all knowledge.
9. Improve your vocabulary skills. Read newspaper on a regular base and what new you have read in the newspaper, note down them in your diary, clear out their meanings and practice them in your daily life routines.
10. Go through with the latest pattern based study material and books. Time to time evaluate yourself with the help of mock test. Evaluation is very necessary if you want to know your progress.
 11. Work hard on your weak sections. Give extra time to them but don’t forget to strengthen your strong points also. Give additional time to your weak topics and improve upon them.
12. Focus on your calculation speed because if your calculation speed is slow then there is no significance of your knowledge as you will be keep tangled in your calculation and because of lack of speed and time you will lose the race. So try to improve your calculation speed also.

THINGS NOT TO DO DURING SBI PO EXAM 2018:
1. You cannot depend only on chapter wise measures, when preparing for such type of exams. You have to work on different level of questions and you have to clear your basics and have to try to complete the question paper in a fixed amount of time.
2. Don’t waste most of your time on your weak topics. Work more upon your strong topics so that you can attempt those questions easily and in less time period in exam. You should have a clear idea about what to skip and what to attempt in your exam. Do not waste your time on those questions which you think are difficult for you to attempt.
3. English section is the key point in this exam as you have 20 minutes for attempting this section so utilize these 20 minutes properly in solving this section, this step can be a game changer this time. Do not just study the rules or tenses unless practice more and more questions of this type with the help of sample papers. One who is having a good command on English comprehension, solve this section firstly then go for the grammar section and vice-versa.

Students now I hope you get a plan for your preparation so don’t waste your time now.  Just keep these guidelines in your mind and work hard to get success. Start preparing according to a well scheduled plan and hope for the best.
All the best for your future.

Significance of English Section in SBI Clerk 2018 Examination

Significance of English Section in SBI Clerk 2018 Exam
Significance of English Section in SBI Clerk 2018 Examination
Hello dear students as you all are well aware about the SBI Clerk Prelims Exam2018 and the date has already been rearranged on 23rd, 24th and 30th of June 2018. We know as you people are preparing hard for the exam so we would like to inform you all that there are major changes in the pattern of SBI Clerk Examination that will be observed this year are the introduction of section timing for the Prelims exams too and elimination of sectional cut off.

Previously students used to save their timing by spending a maximum of 15 minutes on the English Section and the time they would save this way was used up on solving the complex questions of Reasoning Ability and Quantitative Aptitude Sections which are thought to be more time-consuming. But from now this trick is not going to help you anymore because you have to spend 20 minutes on each of the three sections that means 20 minutes out of total 60 minutes have to be given exclusively to English Section as per the SBI Notification. But don’t be disappointed because there is a silver lining in every dark cloud, isn't it? So, why to look at the dark side of a thing rather to look at the bright side of it. Focus on the positive attitude of everything. As this way you have the enough time to spend on the English section to and you can score best in English Section as you will enough of time to deeply go through the questions and thus crack the questions with a higher accuracy rate.

So students don’t be disappointed because there is always a solution to every difficult situation as somebody had said “when there is a will there is a way”.  The one who desire anything he had to chase that thing. Always use the opportunities and never make excuses. Now you have to make the strategies according to the examination pattern as you have enough time for English section that is20 minutes for 30 questions so why not to have a full command on English language. Deeply go through the English grammar, comprehension, reading section etc. learn the things from their base; prepare the things like a master. So for helping you in this we are providing you some useful tips that can help you in making a command on English section for SBI Clerk 2018 Examination:

·         Put your practice more and more on solving the English questions with the help of different Mobile Applications as you all have smart phones.
·         Clear your basics of English language and learn the things from their roots because as your basics will be clear I am sure you are going to rock. You still have 2 months to grip the maximum of the nuts and bolts of this language so work hard and make the best use of these 2 months and practice most of the questions so you can manage to attempt the maximum number of questions in this section.
·         Those students who are having a weak hand in English grammar can attempt the reading comprehension first as you have the enough time for reading the paragraphs thoroughly, understand it well and then solve the questions. As there is no extra need of grammar knowledge in solving the reading comprehension section, one has to read it and to comprehend it by using his/her common sense.
·         In reading comprehension section you have to keep in mind to solve the question first based on vocab and phrase and after solving these go through the sections which need deep penetration.
·         For the cloze test these subjects should be on your finger tips such as subject-verb agreement, preposition, and verbs. These  topics are going to help you in  solving other grammar questions also. So focus on these topics and work hard to have a mastery on this.
·         For boosting up your vocabulary you have to work on the newspaper. Read a good newspaper regularly and the new words which you come across note them in a diary and try to use them in your daily life routine, there is no best way to increase your vocabulary other than this. Try this on a regular base and this will help you for sure.
All the best to all the participants. Work Hard along with smart work.
