National Testing Agency(NTA) today on 16th March 2020 published a notice in the various newspapers related to the registration for the UGC NET Exam June 2020. We have found a Notice in the Tribune newspaper published on 16th March related to the UGC National Eligibility Test 2020 on page number 15. In the notice UGC NET department said that the online application related to the UGC NET Examination will be active from 16th March to 16th April 2020. Eligible applicants can apply online for the UGC NET Exam between these dates. The application fee can be paid up to 17th April 2020.

Entrance Examination Name: UGC NET Exam June 2020.

What are the Eligibility Criteria for Applying this UGC NET June 2020 Exam?
Academic Qualifications:
§  Minimum Qualification: Candidate who is wishing to apply should own a Master’s degree or its equivalent from a board or university recognized by UGC.
§  Minimum Qualifying Marks Required: Applicant must have scored a minimum of 55% marks (50% for ST/SC/OBC/PwD) in the Master’s degree in streams such as Social Science, Humanities, Computer Science & Applications and Electronic Science.
§  Appearing Applicant: Candidates who are in their final year of qualifying the exam can also apply.

Age Standard:
There is no age bond related to this UGC NET Exam for the position of Assistant Professor. Though, in the case of JRF, the age of the candidate must not be more than 30 years. There will be 5 years of relaxation is given to the reserved category applicants.

UGC NET EXAM PATTERN JUNE 2020
The NAT will conduct the next UGC NET Exam for Junior Research Fellowship and eligibility for Assistant Professors between 15th June 202 to 20th June 2020. The test will comprise of two papers as given below:

1.   Paper 1 : [Total Marks: 100]
Number of Questions: 50 ( Multiple Type Questions, MCQ Format)
Duration of the UGC NET Exam: 3 Hours.

2.   Paper 2 : [Total Marks: 200]
Number of Questions: 100 (MCQ0
Duration of the Exam: 3 Hours.

Note: The UGC NET test 2020 will be conducted in Computer Based Test(CBT) mode only.
Procedure for Applying this UGC NET Examination 2020
The candidates who desire to appear in the test have to submit the online application related to this UGC NET Exam 2020. The online link will be active on 16th March 2020 for applying the UGC NET Exam 2020. This link for applying online for the NET Exam will remain active till 16th April 2020. Applicants can pay the application fee related to this UGC NET Test till 17th April 2020. Do not wait for the last date to apply online for this Examination. Apply as soon as possible.

How much is the Application Fee for applying the UGC NET Examination June 2020?
All eligible applicants have to pay the application fee according to their cast category from which they belong. The various application fee according to different casts are as follow:
  1. ·       For General Candidates – Rs.1000
  2. ·       For OBC- NCL Candidates – Rs.500
  3. ·       For ST/SC/PwD Candidates – Rs.250

Manner of Payment: Those candidates who are going to apply can pay the application fee through debit/credit card or E-Challan at the nearest ICICI/Syndicate Bank/Canara Bank.


IMPORTANT DATES
16TH March 2020 is the Start Date to Apply Online.
16th April 2020 is the Last Date to Apply Online for UGC NET Test of 2020.
17th April 2020 is the Last Date to Submit application fee.

a) The Ph.D. degree of the applicant has been presented in a regular mode;

b) The Ph.D. thesis has been assessed by at least two external examiners;

c) An open Ph.D. viva voce of the applicant has been conducted:

d) The Candidate has printed/published 2 research papers from his/her Ph.D. work, out of which at least one is in a refereed journal:

e) The applicant has presented at least 2 papers based on his/her Ph.D work in conferences/seminars sponsored funded/supported by the UGC/ ICSSR/CSIR or any similar agency
