1). Job Profile: Technical Officer on Contract
Vacancies: 70 Posts.
(36 posts reserved for UR, 18 posts for OBC, 11 Posts for SC & 5 Posts for ST category. Reservation for PwD & EWS candidates will be applicable as per the guidelines.)
Pay Band: 23,000/- p.m.

2. OTHER BENEFITS:
The selected applicants will be posted for giving assistance in the development, production, maintenance, and field support of electronic equipment. As and when the need arises, the selected candidates will be deployed to the project site. During a deployment to the sites, candidates will also be eligible for TA/DA and other benefits in addition to the above-consolidated pay as per Company Rules.








3. CONTRACT PERIOD:
The tenure of the contract for the above positions would be one year only. However, it may be extendable up to one more year depending upon requirements.

4. ESSENTIAL QUALIFICATION:
Applicants having an Engineering Degree in one of the following trades/stream: “Electronics & Communication Engineering /Electrical Electronics Engineering / Electronics & Instrumentation Engineering /Mechanical Engineering / Computer Science Engineering/ Information Technology” with minimum of 60% marks in aggregate from any recognized Institution / University can apply for these Govt jobs in India for engineering graduates.

5. EXPERIENCE:
Should have minimum one-year experience in Production / Repair/Maintenance of Electronic equipment in a large and reputed organization. However, preference will be given to those who have relevant experience in Govt./PSU organization.

6. METHOD OF SELECTION:
The selection will be conducted through a Personal Interview at Hyderabad. In case of a large number of applications, the candidates will be shortlisted in the ratio of 1:3 based on the marks obtained in the qualifying examination as mentioned above i.e., B.E / B.Tech.
Date of interview & document verification will be intimated by email in due course of time and candidates are required to attend for interview within short notice.

7. RESERVATIONS AND RELAXATIONS:
Reservations &Relaxations for SC/ST/OBC/PWD/Ex-SM/EWS will be as per Govt., directives.
Relaxation of Marks: 1st Class is relaxed to 2nd Class with 50% marks in aggregate for SC/ST candidates.
Age Relaxation: 5 years for SC/ST; 3 years for OBC & 10 more year’s relaxation for PWD category. The upper age limit of the candidates who are going to apply for this ECIL Recruitment 2020 will be relaxed by 5 years for candidates who had ordinarily been domiciled in the State of Jammu & Kashmir from 01.01.1980 to 31.12.1989.

9. IMPORTANT INSTRUCTIONS:
The selected candidates are required to join within short notice from the date of selection. The selected candidates invariably required to obtain Police Verification Certificate (PVC) and submit the same at the time of joining. The selected candidates will be deputed to work in any of the sites located across the country based on organizational requirements. They may be rotated from one site to another based on job requirements within short notice. What are the Various Eligibility Norms for applying this PPSC Recruitment 2020?
ESSENTIAL QUALIFICATIONS:- (i) The applicant should own a Bachelor's degree in any discipline from a recognized university or institution. The applicant may be allowable to take Preliminary Competitive Examination while studying for his degree. Though, the applicant shall be mandatory to produce proof of passing the Graduation degree course for being suitable to take the Main Competitive Examination during that year.

(ii) No applicant shall be appropriate for appearing in the Preliminary Competitive Examination, unless he/she has passed the Matriculation Examination with the Punjabi language as one of the compulsory or elective subjects or any other equivalent examination in the Punjabi language, which may be specified by the Government from time to time.

AGE BOND: As mandated by Punjab State Civil Services (Appointment by Combined Competitive Examination) Rules, 2009 read with Punjab Civil Services (Executive Branch) Rules 1976, and Govt. directions allotted from time to time, the applicant should have accomplished the minimum age of 21 years and should not have reached the age of 37 years on the first day of January of the year in which the last day falls for submission of application to the Commission.

·       In other words, the applicant should have attained the age of 21 years but should not be older than 37 years on 1st January 2020.

·       Provided that in the case of the post of Deputy Superintendent Police and Deputy Superintendent Jails/District Probation Officer (Grade-II) in Punjab Police Service and Punjab Prisons Service, a candidate should have attained the minimum age of 21 years and should not have attained the age of 28 years on the first day of the year, as referred to above.
