1). For Technician Posts:

Educational Criteria Required: Matriculate pass or equivalent from recognized Board.

NOTE: The nominated applicants will have to undergo 1 year on the job training, which will be provided by the individual Organizations to the selected applicants. The designated applicants will be named as Technical Trainee throughout the training period. Afterward successful accomplishment of the one year training, a certificate to this effect will be provided by the Institute and regular employment will be done.

2). For Assistant Posts:

Educational Criteria Required: A Graduation degree from a well-recognized university of India can apply for this ICMAR Recruitment 2019.

NOTE I: Applicants owning specialized and technical educations which are documented by Government as equivalent to professional and technical degree will also be qualified for admission to the examination.

NOTE II: Applicants who have appeared at an examination the passing of which would render them educationally qualified for the Council’s/Institute’s examination, but have not been informed of the result and also the applicants who intended to appear at such a qualifying examination will not be eligible for admission to this examination.

NOTE III: The applicants must own original or provisional Bachelor Degree certificate.

3). For LDC:

Educational Criteria Required: 12th Class Pass or equivalent qualification from a recognized Board or University. A typing speed of 35 w.p.m in English or 30 w.p.m in Hindi on computer (35 w.p.m and 30 w.p.m correspond to 10500 KDPH on an average of 5 keys depressions for each word).

Age Criteria: Must have age in between 18 years to 27 Years.

· The Knowledgeable authority has engaged that the entire selection process of NYVs for the year 2018-19 should be completed at the earliest in a clear and time bound manner. Further, NYV exercises should be planned in advance.

· In view of providing of the scheme of NYC, it has been decided by the Knowledgeable Authority to arrange new batch of worthy young applicants having devotion, talent, eagerness and fulfilling the required conditions as NYVs.

· It is made clear that in instruction to streamline the system of deployment of NYVs, the following aspects are to be followed:-

a) Any volunteer, positioned against any vacancy in between, should be positioned for the remaining period only, of that financial year (up to 31st March). This will guarantee that from April, the whole system of NYV placement will be as per financial year i.e 1st April to 31st March.

b) For considering continuation of any volunteer in the 2^nd year, applications along with details of specific accomplishments made by the specific NYVs may be placed before the NYV selection committee for necessary decision.

· This is mostly due to the purpose for choosing extremely worthy /brilliant / dedicated NYVs and completing placement and trainings in an uniform manner across the country.

BET Applications are requested from all the Indian peoples , residing in India for award of "DBT-Junior Research Fellowship " (DBT-JRF) for pursuing research in frontier areas of Biotechnology and Life Sciences.

The applicants will be nominated through "BET EXAM (Biotechnology Eligibility Test)". Based on the performance of the candidates in the BET Exam, two groups of merit list will be arranged (Category-I and Category-II).

Category-I: Applicants nominated under category-I will be eligible to avail fellowship under the programme. These candidates will be acceptable in any University/Institute in India where the selected applicant registers for Ph.D. programme.

Category-II: Aspirants chosen under the Category-II will be suitable to be appointed in any DBT sponsored project and avail fellowship from the project equivalent to NET/GATE, subject to selection through institutional selection process.

There will be no binding on Principal Investigators of DBT sponsored projects to select JRF for their project from category-II list. Selection under the category-II will not enable scholar for any fellowship from DBT-JRF programme.

Qualification: M.Sc./ M.Tech./ M.V.Sc . or equivalent degree/ Integrated BS-MS/ B.E./ B.Tech . in any discipline of Biotechnology. M.Sc ./ M.Tech . Bic-informatics/ Computational Biology. Students. admitted under DBT supported Postgraduate Teaching Programs. M.Sc. Life Science/ Bioscience/ Zoology/ Botany/ Microbiology/ Biochemistry/ Bio-physics. Applicants who are currently appearing in the final year examination are, also eligible to apply for this BET Exam 2019.

Marks: Minimum 60% marks for General, EWS & OBC category and 55% for SC/ ST/ Differently abled in aggregate (or equivalent grade).

Age Limit: Upto 28 years (Age relaxation of up to 5 years (33 years) for SC/ST/ Differently Abled/ women candidates and upto 3 years (31 years) for OBC (Non-Creamy Layer) candidates.
